I'm so far behind on my blogging, been really busy and just trying to sort through it all, but about 5 weeks ago the girls were asking if they could get their ears pierced. Michael and I said when they were old enough to ask and when they were responsible enough to take care of them we would discuss the matter. So after the awesome job they did with school this year and as hard as they worked we told Kaleigh (she was the instigator of it all...she seems to be the one who does that most often) if she could keep her hair out of her mouth for one week we would get them done. Sure enough that was the right motivation. So we took them to the mall after swim class one morning. Jordan was a little more skeptical, but once she saw Kaleigh get it done and it didn't look like it hurt too bad, she decided to get them done. Kaleigh of course picked pink sparkle hearts and Jordan picked purple hearts.
She kept her eyes closed the whole time.
Jordan a little concerned but the shock lasted only a second. Good thing they had two ladies doing it at the exact same time.
They have both been incredible with remembering to put the "ear stuff" on their ears at night and in the morning so they don't get infected.
When did they get to be so big, it's truly breaking my heart, they are growing up so fast.
